Just for You

Hike

Get outdoors.  Breathe in the fresh air.  You don't need to go far, but get moving.  Snow or sunshine.

Set the Table

Fancy it up! Set out linen napkins and light a candle. Feel like your KD is gourmet pasta.

Breathe

It is just that simple. Take deep breaths filling your belly and exhale breathing everything out. Do this three times and you'll feel much more relaxed.

Paint Your Nails and Toenails

Clean and dry your nails. Put a clear coat so the nail polish won't start chipping as quickly. Try coconut oil on your nails, it will help them grow and keep them nice. If you prefer, use a nail polish without the bad ingredients in it...you'll find at a health store. Trimming your nails keeps you from getting grime under the nail bed. Filing your nails works too.

Apply Lotion

Apply some nice lotion to make your skin feel soft. Try applying almond oil while you skin is still wet. You can scent this oil with any pure essential oil scent. Rub a thick lotion into your skin starting at the toes extending to the feet, ankles, calves, knees, under the thigh, the top of the thigh, the hips, the buttocks, the waist, the belly, the breasts, the collar bone, the neck, behind the neck, the shoulders, the back the arms, the elbow, the wrists, and from hand to hand massaging the hands. Roll your neck and stretch your back.

Learn Something New

Have you been putting off learning something new? Do you have an interest in learning a new language? What about a new skill? Knitting? Painting? You can do it!

Write on Your Mirror

While looking in the mirror, point out at least one thing you like. Use a dry erase marker to write it on the mirror. Each week add another item of praise to your mirror. Looking into the mirror will bring smiles to your face.

Read a Book

Curling up with a good book and a blanket is a great way to spend an afternoon. I am also a big fan of listening to audio books. Take this time to escape into your imagination and pause from your daily routine.

Bubble Baths

I recommend at least one bubble bath a week. This is time that is just for you. I suggest you surround yourself in your favourite scents and low lighting. Take time to focus on your breathing; taking a breath in and slowly exhaling it. Make sure you keep yourself warm and are free of distractions. Enjoy!
